Bill Perry of Mid South Club and Bob Levy of Talamore Golf Club have announced a joint marketing venture that will include the undeveloped residential real estate at both communities.
They have chosen Martha Gentry’s Home Selling Team at Re/Max Prime Properties to head their marketing efforts.
“Martha’s team is uniquely suited to our marketing needs,” Perry said. “Her team approach provides full time, successful buyers specialists backed by highly trained administrative staff that has produced very impressive sales results for a number of years.”
Levy added, “Both Bill and I have the utmost confidence in Martha’s ability to handle the marketing for our two properties, and in her enthusiasm for the opportunities provided by the synergy of these two first class golf communities.”
Gentry is enthusiastic about both Mid South Club and Talamore.
“We believe that buyers will welcome the opportunities that ownership in these very special communities will afford,” she said. “The undeveloped residential land in both Mid South and Talamore is gorgeous — some of the prettiest land I’ve seen — and we’re very excited about working with developers and builders to create an appealing mix of housing at varying price points that will offer homebuyers a fantastic selection.
“We’ve seen the plans for the clubhouse and it’s going to be awesome! Our whole team is very excited about the potential for a whole new dimension in housing and golf for Moore County.”
The firm of Stagaard & Chao, with offices in the village of Pinehurst, has been designated as the architect for the clubhouse and all related club buildings at Mid South. The clubhouse design and working drawings are well under way and the ground breaking is expected to take place in the fall.
Completion of the 20,000-square-foot clubhouse should be in late 2005. Upscale golf cottages are also planned near the clubhouse area with construction on the first units to start in early 2005.
